Hi
I just purchased live Suite 9.0.1 yesterday and updated my Mac (10.7) But for some reason Live 9.0.1 does not recognize the plugin Sylenth.VST which was working perfectly in 8.2.6. I've re-installed Sylenth again after the install of 9.0.1, but this didn't help...

Has anyone else had this problem, or is this a know incompatibility?

If Sylenth is only 32 bit and you're using a 64 bit version of Live 9, it won't work. I've read about something called jbridge which can fix some vst's to be 64 bit, I haven't tried it yet though.

if you're running the 32-bit version of Live 9 Sylenth works fine, if you're on the 64-bit version then you'll need Jbridge

Ah, of course... i'm using 64 bit Live...
Cool i'll download the 32 bit version and use that instead.

I work in IT, you'd think i should know the 32 / 64 bit compatibilty

Why don't you use the 64-bit Sylenth version instead?

Download the 64-bit version, copy your licence file to the folder containing the 64-bit plugin, and you should be good to go.

As far as I know there is no 64bit VST version for Mac
