How can I keep those final halls?

Hi there!

When I stop my arrangement at the final beat the halls I use will fade out the song nicely.

Unfortunately I don“t know how to preserve this "effect" for the final mixdown. (it will just cut off).

Anybody got an idea how I can keep that "natural" fade?

Tnx Sheluser!

That throws out the question how I would make all those keyboars, plugins and so on stop at the same time,
while not stopping the main-Live cue... to be able to still record the after-hall of (lets say) the different
plugin halls... mh.

Just set the Arrangement loop brace so it captures all the sound, then it will be present on export.

Yeah, that caught me the first time I exported. There's probably a few tricks around that, but I just extend a deactivated clip an extra bar or two.

Hi all!
Solutions sometimes are so simple that it causes a smile:

I stop the WHOLE (last) scene but not the main Recording - let the halls "fade out" (whatsoever) and only after that stop the recording!

Maybe the question is to simple after all!

Another way of capturing fortuitous 'mistakes' or 'effects' is to have software like 'Snapz Pro X' (OSX) run to capture any current audio streams and then import those into your Live arrangement.
