L9: Audio Crakles with Zebra

I am experiencing odd stuff with L9.
Zebra VST or AU produces crackles at only 25% CPU.
On the same machine and with the same audio card (FW coreaudio) and audio settings L8 has no problems with the same set.
(I have tried with L8 and L9 version of the same set)

Are you getting the same results with Zebra?
Just curious where to investigate.
I am running 32 Bit version of Live.

Best

Is it with all presets? Always in same part of the note or randomly?

I've been having the same issue with Zebra and Live9...and it doesn't seem to be cpu related at all.

I haven't had such issues in 64bit Live9.
The first thing I'd try is getting the latest Zebra 2.6 b3.

I can add that this happens on my new MacBook Pro but not with my 5 years old iMac.
(Or it's random and I haven't catched it yet)

MBP : i5 2.7 Ghz Dual Core, 4GB RAM - Mountain Lion
iMac: 2.66 GHz C2D 4GB RAM - Snow Leopard

I second that experience. Live 9 - although 64bit - seem to have slight issues even with 64bit plugins. For example Omnisphere can take whole playback down with single instance on single track (1 patch running inside, loading 8 tracks multi patterns takes Live 9 on its knees, well CPU for sure). Few instances of Dune spiking to 60%. 3 instances of Massive can run to magical 150% on scale displayed on top.
All that running via external Motu UltraLite MK3 (latest firmware 1.06 via FW800) in 44100 - Normal with loops going to RAM, tracks frozen when possible and sidechain compression created via return to save CPU.

Previously was running Live 8.4 32bit and it was all nice. Bridging some plugins via jBridgeM doesn't help I think. Native 32bit bridge would nicely sort it - but is lacking big time.

64bit suppose to be at least as good as 32bit one. When having machines armed with i7 and 32GB RAM - I expect more from Live 64bit.
At least stability and 32bit performance match. Hopelessly waiting for 9.0.2 release

I have to test at 64bit.
Thank you!

I'm having no probs with either AU or VST Zebra on osx 10.6.8 live 9.0.1 32bit.

In fact, less CPU use generally -- but not noticeablywith Zebra) than with 8.3.4.

Thanks. You are supporting my view that old OSX Snow Leopard works fine...it might be Mountain Lion or something inside 9.0.1... who knows?
