hey guys, sorry for the stupid question, but my trial version for live 9.0.2 WILL NOT OPEN. I have mac osx 10.6.8, and i have tried opening the app about 20 times now, and it just wont respond. I dont know what to do, and i dont want to re-install because with my sucky internet connection it takes nearly 2 hours to download. I will be glad to verify the best i can for any questions. thanks for any help!

Yes, I am having the EXACT same problem! Everything was fine until I upgraded to 10.6.8 earlier this afternoon. Now it won't even launch. Must be a bug with 10.6.8?? I hope that they get it figured out before my trial period ends

i am having the same problem, the weekend in front of me and ableton doesnt work...grrrr!!

Just like I sugested here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=191376 downgrade to 9.0.1.

happening here as well. downgrading and turning off auto updates doesn't work. I am only able to launch the app once after reinstalling. Looking at the log file it seems to hang at authorization. Bet all the people with cracked software are happy making music right now.
