Korg Legacy Collection Question

Alright guys

I've just treated myself to the Korg Legacy collection (Awesome sounding synths)

I've got a question about presets.....whenever i chose a different one to what automatically loads when you open any of the synths, or make changes to an existing preset it resets every time i stop playing my clips.

Say i have some midi clips that i've created, load a Korg synth onto it, modify the sounds/change the preset and hit play on the clip, the moment i stop playing them the Korg synth resets to the initial preset.

I'm sure there must be something i'm doing wrong, any info appreciated

It seems that this problem is not specific to the Legacy Collection, it's now doing it with Sylenth. I'm working with Midi clips, every time i hit the stop button in the global settings at the top, i lose my preset/settings in the synth and it reverts to a completely different preset......driving me nuts!!!!!

Which version of Live are you using?
Mac or PC?

you have a program change saved into your midi clip

I couldn't see details at pixel level, but it seems to me that in your clip settings (Pgm change) you have selected some preset, 39?
If so, that is what is used when the clip is played.

Is it possible you changed the preset while that track was armed & playing back? (recording automation essentially)

That's the only reason I can think of that your clip would have the Program Change built into it.

This is normally used to specify the preset to use on a per-clip basis - each midi clip would contain different preset info to fetch when the clip is played.
