Push and 128s in Sampler - Chain selector and Auto-select

Post by djlimbs » Sun Mar 31, 2013 4:35 pm

Hey Abes,

So I've been putting together 128s to improve my workflow with Push and I feel the functionality between Sampler's chain selector and auto-select to be less than ideal.

With auto-select on and all the chains mapped to a single value, the Sampler still selects all of the samples in the waveform viewer since they are all in the same key-zone. This makes editing sample start and end points cumbersome. I've worked around this by mapping each sampler to a key and using the Pitch midi effect to select samples, but it'd be cool if y'all just programmed it so chain selector selected only the sample it was mapped to. I guess I can do an instrument rack with multiple simplers but I feel like that'd take up more processing power. Thanks Abes!

+1 to this. would really make things easier to adjust. the current behaviour seems more like a bug, than a feature.
