How to One Click Load New Set? I saw Kid Beyond do it...

I saw Kid Beyond open for Zilla at the 12 Galaxies in SF on Sat 4/23.
Wicked stuff - very intense! Using very portable laptop/ableton rig for an all beatbox/livePA. Never had to touch his laptop or anything with his hands thanks to a nice big foot control (Ground Control?)
I saw him open up a new template for his songs with a single footswitch click!!! I know when I (Control C) open up a new template is prompts me to delete all files in the Temp folder, and also another generic prompt.
Anybody else able to do this? Please share how!

If he's using some midi->key press software, which I suspect he is, it would be easy to set up a macro that hits ctrl+o, waits for the prompts, hits enter and whatnot, and then moves on.

Maybe he double-clicked in the browser.

i can do a similar thing. I bought a nostromo game pad in which you can set up specific commands at the touch of a button. One of the commands you can use is open song. It's great.

I've been waching Kid Beyonds video on
www.ableton.com. Beeing new to Live, I've looking for a way to do what he does with real instruments.
Does anybody know how to set this up?
I've manage to do this with audio clip (overdub), but not with audioclips..

I do similar live looping with guitars/bass/handrums
It's not any different than what Kid B does really.

I use a seperate input, and sometimes multiple tracks for each instrument. Then I buss all my instruments together.
The complexity comes in setting up Bomes Midi Translator. You may build up a few guitar parts, and then you will want to make some kind of bridge, where mulitple parts change, mute, and new FX are applied. All this can be mapped to a single button with Bomes.
