Looper while using Push has serious problems

In my set-up I am often using Looper to establish a tempo by setting its tempo control to "set & follow." When I do this now while Push is the active control surface the looping goes to hell. This is a flaw that makes Push unusable in a large part of my work. Might not sell my Maschine after all. A bummer as Push is pretty cool in some respects but there must be something in the scripting that is locking tempo stuff to the push in a way that throws everything else off.
Anyone else having this issue? Is this a known bug? Does anybody care except me?

I care but haven't gotten to those things yet.

I've got high hopes for the updates that will come out in the future.

The user interface of the Looper is incomplete on the Push 3 screen, notice in the Feature Request area I am asking for an improved UI!

Have you seen the looper control seemingly switching modes randomly? why is it doing this
