I bought a Maschine Mikro while waiting for PUSH

And holy fuck do I LOVE this thing!!! I should bought one of these YEARS ago!!! I have the Mikro MK2 and now I really am thinking about dropping the extra couple hundred for the full one. This is exactly the workflow that I've always been looking for and it feels amazing! I can't believe I waited so long to get one.
I had my $$ saved up for PUSH but everywhere I go it's back ordered for 4 or more months, so I thought I'd grab a Maschine to hold me over. Don't get me wrong I still want a Push but this Maschine has really changed the game for me!
My setup is getting a bit NI-Centric these days. I have an S2, X1, F1, Audio DJ2 and now Maschine. WTF?? Never meant for that to happen, honestly.
Just thought I'd share this!

That's exactly how I felt when I got mine. It was a game changer for me too. I have the regular MKI. You're deffo gonna wanna upgrade to the full one just for having complete control from the hardware. You'll get spoiled right away from the immediacy of having everything quicker to access and the ability to automate more than one thing at once.

I couldn't see the point in going for just the Mikro myself. Seems like it would just be a tease compared to the full size model. Definitely thought about going for the full size but the price was pretty much even with Push so... I bought a Push. Might still get a Maschine but right now I'm pretty sour about all of the Maschine trolling on this forum. It's really annoying. I'm starting to think the Maschine trolls are Ableton employees trying to annoy people into buying a Push.

Like I said, I just got it because I really didnt feel like waiting 4 months for the push to become available but I had no idea I'd love it this much.
I'm still getting push. I may just stay w/ the Mikro too because aside from DJ'ing, I'm not too invested in the NI world. Ableton has been my thing for quite awhile now and I really don't wanna get all into Komplete and that whole clusterfuck of devices and shit. It's good stuff I'm sure but theres no way I'd be able to learn all of it and honestly it would just be overwhelming.
This Maschine is gonna be my dedicated drum loop maker and I'll leave it at that. I don't really have a lot of desire to get super deep w/ it, I just wanna bang out some drum loops and these pads make it really nice. I'm pretty decent at finger drumming so it's a lot of fun!

You're going to love the Push then. Your finger drumming turns into shredding solos. It's going to take a lot of self control for me not to just shred on my Push every time I turn it on.

Will finger druming player get better user experience with smaller&cramped pad than with bigger MPC-style pad?

Are they comfortably playable with smaller/cramped ones?

Having Maschine as the interface for anything in Komplete helps a ton since it effectively turns everything in Komplete into a hardware instrument through Maschine's fast and intuitive interface and exclusive browsing of all presets from all of Komplete from the Maschine hardware. All the parameter automapping has been improved with all of Komplete 9 as well:

Looking at everything in Komplete at once can seem overwhelming but you can always just install only what you want to use.
Oh, and don't forget you already get a full license for Massive and Komplete Elements since they come with Maschine for free, so you can try them out to get a feel for the integration.

I think it would depend on your style and inebriation level. I only need the size available on Push but I'm finger drumming less and playing instruments more on it. I'd have to say it's geared more towards playing melodies than drums, hence the "cramped" spacing but I haven't found my finger drumming to be imprecise on it.

It'll be harder to do some common finger drumming techniques on Push like double triggering the same pad with two fingers due to the smaller pads.
