if you have a choice then Ethernet is better because it is less likely to cause audio glitches than wifi (and it gives you a faster solid connection).

+1 on this. My PC's wireless card has been the only source of audio instability (cracks, pops, dropouts, resetting of gain controls) in my system. I disabled the card in the Device Manger and only turn it on when I need to grab something from the internet - it also helps that I have a laptop nearby and another PC in my living room.

Thanks for the opinions. Yea I do have a choice as the computer is in a cabinet and has a built in lan plus it is near the router. Just thought I would ask
