Push : how to control LFO when tempo-synced?
Push : how to control LFO when tempo-synced?
Hi,
for example using Analog, when trying to change LFO speed nothing happend. It shows values in Hz and does not apply because paramater is set on tempo-synced.
Is there a way to switch between Hz/tempo-synced?

I was having the same problem when working with an arpeggiator within a midifx-rack.
I had to map a macro to the arp rate twice in synced and free mode and another macro to the sync/free-mode button to be sure the rate-macro works in both modes... maybe you can do that too.

Tks for the tip.#1thelark wrote:I was having the same problem when working with an arpeggiator within a midifx-rack.

But it's not so handy since you can't group device and map controls with push...

Do it once an then save it as a preset.. Then you can open it from push.

Surely Ableton can come up with a fix for this? Still not working!!!

Have you installed the community map for Lives devices?!
Everything is mapped there.
The thread for it is on the first page here.

It's called "Change the parameter mapping of Lives own devices in Push!" and literaly 5 threads below this one.

Gotcha - I will have a look - many thanks…
Very frustrating that Ableton haven't seemed to think this through properly.
I have NI Maschine and to be honest I think the mapping / workflow is far superior, with more or less everything accessible, quickly.
I know theres a learning curve, but basic controls missing is a major let down by a company the size of Ableton.
