I ran into this while testing PXT, but it occurs even without using any user mode scripts

If you have push running, start a new live set. The midi indicators in the top right corner will randomly blink. This will happen until you click on a track or focus on anything. So push is sending random midi data until you place it into a known state by clicking on a track or clip, without any track highlighted it spits random

This presented itself by instantly creating a midi clip with random notes in it when dropping a vst onto the session view with PXT in use

I have my threshold set to -5, but I tried setting it to 0 and this still occurs, so its not picking up random noise from the pads either

I've noticed it as well but it hasn't dropped anything into my session yet like it has for you.

The only reason it dropped it in there was because of PXT, normally it would not do anything. Either way it just didnt seem good to be sending out random midi data

Maybe it's trying to say something. Could this be a first for MIDI controllers?
