Chain selector value controlled by keyboard midi note data

Hi, Ableton 9 has a very powerful feature in the 'macro chain selector' on any instrument or audio rack, allowing to jump through various chains and hear the desired/selected chain and muting the others. But it is limited as you have to change the macro value parameter in a linear fashion. I.e 1,2,3,4 - 127 etc. If I want to go from 4 to 40 I can type the value or move macro nob up from 4 to 40. Is it possible to have my Korg drum pad or m audio keyboard's midi note value data be mapped to every macro chain selector value? for example C = 0, C# = 1, D = 2, D# = 3, E = 4 etc So that for the 127 macro values (128 including 0) a keyboard midi note value selects the parameter, allowing from octave 1 to octave 8 each midi note selects a different chain in the rack being used. Please any advice? Kind regards TommeeH

What if you went into midi map mode and clicked on the chain selector area, then selected the first and last note on the keyboard at the same time? It might interpolate the range between the keys ie if you have a 61 key keyboard then the chain selector will have 61 spots between start and end.

As far as I know you can only have 1 cc message to a parameter not 2 or more, but you can use the same cc message to control more than one parameter (macro nob). I can modulate a macro with the lfo device in max which radomises the macro parameter, but would like more conntrol in real time. Ableton this is a needed feature please design a work around.
