Is it possible to save a midi clip with an instrument preset, so that when scrolling through sounds in the browser you can preview the patch? It would also be nice to save a type of groove or pattern to associate with that sound when loading a new instrument. I see you can save clips to a default midi track but it would be really handy to have a chosen midi clip attached to a instrument preset patch. Even after more thought return tracks that load with the mixer track and its send amount would be really cool. I'm thinking Live 10 should include this maybe?

Cool, covered some good stuff in a short period of time. Now to sit down some day and play around with Live 9.0.2 till they get 9.0.x released with browser/indexer/rewire/plugin issue fixes....
