Inverting Phase on Kick Drums

I normally set up my kicks in Simpler. I have heard a lot lately about inverting the phase on a kick drum sample to improve its sound in the mix and also it's punch. Can anyone let me know how this can be done in Simpler.

Flipping phase doesn't necessarily improve your kick sounds, but if you got multiple kick samples going at the same time, there's a chance that there might be some phase cancellation. Toss the Utility plug-in in your chain, reverse the phase. If it improves the sound, cool! If it doesn't improve, then yeah, don't flip phase. Most likely there won't be any noticeable difference.

there are a few plugs that can rotate the phase of a signal (not just flip it) for getting audio to sit better in the mix. Izotope's Alloy for eg.
but this plugin does phase rotation and freq smearing to boost the shit out of kicks and bass:

might be what you're after?
