Help with Orchestral sounds

Post by axem » Tue May 28, 2013 10:22 am

I own Suite9 for the Mac

I downloaded the packs from ableton.

Today I wanted to use the orchestral brass. I opened the pack in the browser and I only found 2 folders samples and sounds. No example .als, no presets.

Ableton says there are 35 presets for orchestral brass. I looked for them far and wide and (maybe I am silly) I could not find them.

So how does one use these orchestral sounds and where are the 35 presets located?

I assume the woodwinds strings and mallets will work the same.

Thanks for your help.

On my machine, the Sounds folder contains six subfolders: Bass Trombone, Brass Ensemble, French Horn, Trombone, Trumpet, and Tuba. Between them, those folders contain the 35 presets promised. They have names such as "Bass Trombone Solo Legato.adg". Is that not also true on your machine?

Thanks ark,
I re-downloaded and re-installed, they are all there now.
