How are you guys sharing say screenshots from your iPad to a forum like this? Or from your Photo Library? I can't find an easy way to do this without using a computer. Is there something like imageshack for iOS?

I don't think there is an easy way. I think in the past I've saved a web picture to my photo library and then uploaded it to Photobucket using some Photobucket app which then provides a link you can copy. No picture is really worth that much effort.

I just grab them from Photo Stream on my Mac, then upload it with cl.ly



There are also apps for the service, on iOS.

instagram seems to have multiple annoying ways to get that photo where it needs to go. i don't have an instagram account or app, yet people who do seem to be able to get pictures to me any way... always via instagram never their own means.

I heard that iOS 6 enables file uploads for your photo library.

"Photo Stream" (same icon as Photos) is one of the options when you try to forward an image... it gives some options to "allow anyone to view on iCloud" and there is "Public Website" on/off switch.

Flickr lets you upload directly from the device.

Can you directly and easily link to the image?

I am on Ipad. When I want to post a pic here, taken from a site, the only way to do it is this:

(1) on the picture: select "copy". If you "paste" it in a forum or such nothing happens, so:
(2) open browser and select "paste" in the web address area: it will appear the image address.
(3) "select all" then copy it
(4) post the pic via "[img]paste-the-copied-address[/img]"

Regarding your own photos (saved in your device) it is even worse, because you must at first send them (via e-email or "direct upload") on a cloud/share system and then publish them on a site, so that you can at last repeat the above operation, having an http addressed image.

No other ways, alas. idiotic "one finger mouse" mac world

imgur.com works as well.

How can you upload images from iPad to imgur though?
