See Video - Metronome, First Tick Echo ?

Post by lyovino » Sat Jun 08, 2013 10:44 pm

Why is it when you hit the record button, the Metronome always sounds an echo of the first tick?
It drives me up a wall. I haven't read any complaints and yet hear it in a most of the videos.
Am I the only one here to be agitated by the double tick? I hope this will be addressed..

Edit:
Okay I found a video with an example.. Please skip to 15:25, at preciscly 15:30 and also 19:28 you will hear exactly what I am referring to with the metronome and a double tick on the "One" beat. Someone please confirm that I am not loosing it.. And what is the cause? thanks.

I am not familiar with the problem. Are you sure you either don't have feedback where you have an active mic going on your computer, Or a room that makes echoes easily?

Do you get this problem on headphones too?

It's not feedback, the room is treated and it's also in headphones.
I posted because I hear it in some of the Youtube videos too.
I don't have my Push here now, waiting for replacement..

I think after further interpretation, he means, the very first moment that you hit Play, not each successive downbeat beyond that.

Still, that is a software issue and not a hardware issue.

Yes it's the very first tick after hitting the record button. ( Oneone, two, three, four)
Only on the first and never after that. I can't believe no one has heard it.
If you follow any of the videos you will hear it present on some of them also.
If I come across one I'll post the link. It makes me feel like i'm scratching my nails on a chalk board.
