Hi,

your song "what's up girl" is cool, maybe a little bit slow.

the other song "sometimes" i think this was the name. I think it is the second clap which is totally off beat. In my opinion it doesn't work, i listened the whole song, but i only recognized this clap. Sorry! :D

Thanks for your feedback Martin,

Just to let you know, I added what's called "swing" to some of the percussion (especially claps) to give a more natural feel. I did this so as not to make it sound so synthetic and computerised. Obviously that's not to your taste but hey ho!

Cheers bro

Sometimes - I agree about the clap, that's way too much swing I think. It doesn't sound more human, it sounds sloppy. High hats and cymbals were a touch loud too, and the crash sounded a little cheesy to me (and you use it off beat again which sound weird). Some cool ideas and I can see real possibilities with the groove, but some of the weird syncopations with the drums kept me from nodding my head like these kinds of tracks usually do.

Thanks for the input mate

I can see what you mean with the clap - I was going for a very swung beat and to me it sounds good and a bit different to your standard 4 to the floor beats. However I will bare this in mind for future production.

Also, in regards to the cymbals - I like to use a lot of crash's to emphasise the sections so it doesn't get as repetitive. However I think the one I used here does sound a little cheesy.

Anyway, thank you for your feedback - obviously not to your taste but ya can't please everyone can ya
