Problem with MIDI mapping_ Radium 49 and Ableton 9

Hi guys... hoping someone can help me out. I have a Radium 49 hooked up to my MacBook Pro (Mac OS X, Vesion 10.6.
. The keyboard plays fine, but for some reason, it won't let me assign MIDI knobs.... When I go into MIDI mapping mode, I turn a knob, and it moves something random like Volume or the like, but will not let me reassign... It's extremely frustating and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I'm desperate.
