Now lets recap:

Rakim, you either are or are not making a blanket statement about hiphop music according to what you wrote,
And you either are or are not making a blanket statement regarding hiphop writing as evidenced by immortal technique according to what you wrote?

If I misunderstood something you said sorry about that, it just looked that way.

uh, yeah, before you recap, why don't you go back and read my posts. all of them. then you'll see that i didn't compare anyone to a creative writing class directly, nor did i mention i had a creative writing class.

then, re-read your post and see that you're confronting my opinion directly when there's no need.

now normally after doing both of those you would come to a conclusion, you're not going to do that though. you're going to continue arguing, misinterpreting things, and wasting time. this is where i come in. i'm now going to do something productive and forget you exist.

I've got an idea, since you grew up writing and vaguely make hiphop, why don't we eschew all of this negativity and take this as an opportunity to make a difference........ Collab on a track and make hiphop better?

Do you plan to play any traditional instruments (i.e. not an MPC or controller) as part of this collaboration?

I don't know, from what I gather from rakims vision it would seem so. I would be a student of his musical direction since that's how this got started, of course I'm sure the lyrical writing is where the main focus would go, according to how the conversation has gone so far.
