Okay so right now i have ableton.... I really enjoy making quick stuff in it but some of my stuff ends up sounding flat when i try to master it. I heard logic has better plug-ins for mastering but could i just download a bunch of free vsts for it like these http://bedroomproducersblog.com/free-vst-plugins/ and get a better result and possibly more unique than "ableton sounding tracks" or logic sounding tracks?

Logic eats less CPU, Logic has amazing undo system, you can undo for example 10th action and leave other actions as they were blah blah blah it has more tools than ableton

Logic is a pain in the ass to use. So many confusing way to handle things. It's also bloated, involve lots more micro management and more click with mouse.
It's like comparing the gameplay of far cry 3 and far cry 2 (it's getting very technical here I know). Both are good but ableton is a joy to use because they try to do things a different way.

I would choose Cubendo, Studio1, or Reaper over logic any day of the week
just my 2c.. very unintuitive workflow in Logic...and all products mentioned are frequently updated.

i used to love the logic enviroment stuff. lots of knobs and faders. very nice for external synths/samplers.
this was in logic 5 time - a couple days ago. maybe some people do things like this in max4live.

ableton 8 is for me the best. i dont do the upgrade to 9.

Yeah, agree with 3dot on Studio One vs Logic; the workflow on S1 blows Logic away(Logic user for 7 years). The only drawback is that S1's built in instruments are not as great as Logic's. All that said it will be interesting to see what Logic X brings to the table when it comes out later this year.
