A problem I often have when using the 909 kit in Live (and other kits too) is that I can get quite a nice sound with my kick, snare and hat, and then I'll, say, add a tom and all of a sudden the kick drum will be making a clicking noise on every beat. Why is this happening? If I lower the the decay on the tom eventually the clicking sound will go away on the kick.

Can anyone explain why this is happening?

Freezing the track should help you.
