so is the deal because they made it $200 you now have to pay that every time? can't see any mention of update pricing

Correct, though the last few upgrades were $200 anyway, so really no different other than cheaper entry price.

Plus Logic 9 was released in 2009, hardly a reason to go "And now I have to drop another $200 again already?!?"

Still nice to have the free app, but after reviewing it does seem a little pedestrian. Track automation might be a tall order at this point but it would be nice to be able to control the built-in effects and EQ.

Damn! So far I'm impressed that even though they did go with the "GarageBand Pro" kind of feel everyone thought they would it doesn't seem like they took away the depth of features. 8O

Please report back if you find any workflow improvements.


Was really hoping for some kind of session view or pool of track sections you could easily drag back and forth. :x
