Audio Clip Volume Shortcut

Just a small request...
I use drum racks a lot, but now I'm starting to move to arranging drum samples in arrange view. There's more per-sample automation and sample editing options available this way. However, one feature that I miss from MIDI drums is the ability to Alt-drag to adjust velocity. I notice that Alt-dragging on audio clips in arrange view doesn't currently perform any function. Could we have a clip volume control implemented through this shortcut? Visual feedback would be through the waveform's appearance rather than the MIDI note colour. It'd make working with drum samples this way that much sweeter.
