Mapping the Master Fader

Is there any way to map the Master fader on Push not to go over "0" dB?
I can map the Chain Volume but not the Master. Currently I'm using the Chain Volume (mapped) for doing fades, but for safety sake I like the Master to be secured at "0"

You can't just add a Utility set to -6db?

So, I should use the utility to map and do fades and not the master chain?

Theater goes to +6 db. A trick I've see people do since the APC days is to add a Utility to all their channels with -6db. That way they can max their faders out quickly without worrying.

It'll still say +6 on the Master readout, but because of the Utility with -6 you'll be at 0.

It is like using the Gain knob on a mixer.

Okay, that works, but if I'm looking for my master always to be at 0 dB then I have to keep it set at +6. Thats a bit of a funky workaround.
All I'm trying to do here is be able to sweep the master, say for a fade out. So from what I understand your saying to keep the utility in place and sweep (record) the master from +6 down. Thanks.
