Parallel Compression

Hey guys
Here's a little thing I've written on parallel compression. In Ableton I usually achieve this by creating an audio rack, with two chains - one with the compressor, and one dry.
This is a long but hopefully informative read if you want to either
a. Make your drums punchy without sacrificing body / bass (kick drums!)
b. Achieve louder drums / vocals / bass, or entire mixes without sacrificing transients!
