Ableton Forum

I'm thinking of getting my partner an electronic drumkit so that we can jam together. It needs to plug in via USB and I need it to play my own samples. Basically something like a MIDI drumpad controller, except in drumkit form (she prefers the feel of playing on a drumkit as opposed to finger tapping). Any recommendations? Doesn't need to be fancy or anything, but the above requirements have to be met.

I did this with a ps3 Rock Band drum kit. As long as you've got enough ram it works very well with negligible latency. Cheap, but effective.
