Ableton Forum

I have made an open hi hat using analog, which i then resampled onto an audio track. Then i dragged the audio sample onto my drum rack, but the problem is, i need to keep the pad pressed for the whole sample play, which is not what i want, i want the pad to launch the clip. Any help on this ? Also I'm trying to come up with my own (sort of) drum rack. Any tips on the hi hats and choking and all of that would be much appreciated.
