I'm about to order a PUSH here in about 30 seconds. I'm pretty pumped and have been waiting a long time to do this! Just thought I'd tell everyone!!
I'm going (semi) minimal. Getting rid of my ridiculous controller collection and will be working w/ Live+Push + Maschine. I'm quite certain this will be a killer combo. Me my Macbook Pro, Push and Maschine. We will make beautiful music together!!!!!

I did pretty much the same thing and find I'm more productive not having to reach for multiple sources to do the same thing.
Sometimes more really is less..

Splendid! Push has replaced all my other controllers (APC40, Vestax pad one and a shitty KORG mickrokey midi keyboard). I don't touch them at all anymore. Nor my mouse or keyboard! I make more music than ever before, most of it crap, but the crap-to-not-bad-ratio is still the same, so that's great. And as a massive bonus, it's a lot more fun.

I hope you enjoy the Push as much as I do.

YES! I've done plenty of research. I KNOW I will love PUSH!!! I'm a long time Live user and I feel like Live 9 can't be used to it's full potential w/o PUSH. Plus, it's just so god-damned beautiful! I've been running Launchpad95 on my Launchpad so I'm already hooked on playing scales on a grid controller. It's absolutely amazing!


I ordered it and it should be here by Thurs. or so. I'm so f'n pumped! I can't wait. I think I'll go read about it now in the Live manual so I can get started straight away!! Thanks guys!

Lol. I don't care about inconsistent LED's. well maybe a little but I saw the sea push script so I think I'll use that. I've been wanting one since they came out but bought a Maschine back in March since I couldn't get a Push. I'm actually happy I got the Maschine but now it'll be like the best of both worlds. Can't wait.

Will be very interested to hear your views on using both Maschine and Push together. I will still more than likely get the Mashine at some point but I've got my eyes on other toys at the moment (namely Oktatrack).

Well, I got it today!!! I'm seriously impressed. I did not expect it to be so heavy and solid! This thing is beautiful. My LED consistency isn't too bad either but I think I'll still install Sea Push.

It's on!!!

After buying something relatively expensive I normally have a feeling like "OH SHIT I JUST SPENT A FORTUNE AND I HAVE TO KEEP IT AND WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE IT AND WOULD LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT RETURNING THIS NOW AND DAMN DAMN DAMN". I've owned Push for about 9 hours and haven't felt even a tingle.

If you have both Push and Maschine I think you'll have it good. No inner conflicts about which device to like since they're both just there :)

Congrats Theo Void! My own savings account is creeping along toward being able to get Push. Can't wait.

I would really love to here from people who have both Maschine and Push, how they are integrating the two into one workflow.

I love this thing but I'm having 1 issue thats annoying the shit outta me and its kinda hard to explain. It's probably me overlooking something but here it is. Any help=Greatly appreciated!!!!!


This is a bit hard to explain but here goes. I just got my Push and the problem is in drum step sequencing mode. By default the step sequencer plays 16th notes. If I only use 1 bar it works ok. The green moving pad moves thru the first two rows and plays notes accordingly. But if I try to add another bar, Live will play the whole 2 bar sequence but on the Push the green moving pad will only move thru 2 rows. So basically, the push's sequencer is not lining up w/ Lives sequencer. Any ideas.
