EQ Four bug with Tiger and 4.1.2 (fixed, disregard)

this is really wierd.
so i played a gig over the weekend with Tiger and 4.1.2, no issues. everything went great.
had a gig tonite (monday), and fired up Live before i left to go there and saw that EQ Four was acting extremely EXTREMELY wierd.
i use 8 EQFour's on 8 channels, and i use them as high pass and low pass filters only.
The bug is both graphic, and audible. As far as audio goes, EQ4 isn't acting correctly on the high band filter. the frequency is not reacting as it should to midi or moving the knob with the mouse. i'll sweep up all the way to the top (18.5khz, and its like it will only audibly go to 5khz, then seconds later finish sweeping all the way up)
as far as graphics go... here is how EQFour SHOULD look the way i use it (i used version 4.0.4 to make these correct graphics):

notice how the line of the eq band above is continuous...
now, here is how it looks (incorrectly) in OSX 10.4 Tiger and v. 4.1.2:

notice how there's a vertical end to the band. The wierd thing about this bug is the audio doesn't represent the graphics, sometimes it sounds like it should, and sometimes it doesn't - but it NEVER sounds like it looks in this bug.
I'm using a stock 12" 1.5ghz Powerbook with 512MB ram. and the stock core audio internal soundcard. I have repaired permissions and rebooted. This bug just popped up today, i've been using Tiger with Live 4.1.2 for a week now with no issues.
