fact: wearing your favorite team's jersey the day of the game will make it more likely that your team will win.
but, seriously, unless you are getting joy out of someone's outfit (like the guy i saw the other day with a bright magazine mosiac suit and neon yellow shirt), it shouldn't really have any impact on your own life whatsoever. people who get angry by what other people wear = people who care too much about what they wear themselves.

When I went to New Orleans a few years ago the Saints were playing the Steelers that weekend and there were tons of fans roaming the streets in jerseys. The 2 teams have the same color jerseys. I imagine that could lead to problems with drunks being unsure of who they should insult or punch.

why would you want to punch losers? isn't it bad enough that they're losers already? how would punching them change your life or theirs for the better?
punching someone because you don't like them or disagree with their value system is something middle school bullies do, not grown ass men.

In the UK most football fans are fat cunts that are too lazy to do anything themselves so they go and watch others do it so they can sit and eat more, they all wear oversized sports shirts to make them feel part of the team, fat lazy load of bastards.

I was always the weedy geeky science guy (with a bit of wannabe musician thrown in). No interest in football and was shit at sports in school.
Then I started actually playing 5 a side and now I'm a fan.
So the question is were you last to be picked in the playground, as I was?

Na, don't like sport, I did everything at school to avoid it, I can see some point in participating if you're that way inclined but watching a bunch of twats kicking a ball, no thanks.
