I was feeling a little under the weather the other day, so I sent my girl out to pick me up a bottle of single malt, as is the proper fashion. 20 minutes later, she calls me up to tell me that the clerk won't sell her any hard liquor because she forgot her ID. Amused, I choose to push this a little further. I tell her it's ok, and ask her to pick up a few beers instead. Again, the clerk refuses the sale.

Where I live, the legal age for buying beer is 16.
