Writing "In my opinion" when I start a sentence, to me is like "this is my legitimate point of view, so respect it and discuss, because I have arguments to prove this statement".nathannn wrote:

1.
a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.
"I'm writing to voice my opinion on an issue of great importance"
synonyms: belief, judgment, thought(s), (way of) thinking, mind, (point of) view, viewpoint, outlook, attitude, stance, position, perspective, persuasion, standpoint; More
as I see it, to my mind, (according) to my way of thinking, personally, in my estimation, if you ask me, for my money, in my book
By the way, it was you that some time ago asked me "what's this man of steel and burger is ace you always quote?". I remember I tried to explain that H20 was claiming those shitty movies are not war propaganda, but "a way to come back to our chidhood". But in my italoenglish it sounded like "it is a way to look for the kids in the house" or smth
Re: Russel Brand On Revolution
WRONG. If Russian Empire invaded every nation (U.S. included) and imposed russian war propaganda with slogans like "we are the Mother Russia", "God bless Russia", and wanted all the population of the invaded lands (with bombs, napalm, torture, agent orange etc.) to be antigay, church followers, watch all russian shitty movies, comedies and such. If Russian Military killed millions of innocent people "because of freedom and democracy... and justice for all". If Russia disrespected every international laws, committing crimes against humanity, ignoring U.N. rules, etc. You would say: "I am antirussian". Period.Machinesworking wrote: Let's put it this way, I'm not a big fan of the current Russian government, the anti gay policy, and slavish ass kissing to the Russian church is disgusting. I mean they even screw up their own people, not just other people? But, I would never say I was antirussian as a way to criticize their government, it would be bigoted of me if I did.

So you can't be bothered to read it but you can be bothered to dismiss it? I'll leave you and spaghetti brains to it (worked out who the two twats are yet?). No wonder Ableton don't promote this forum.Funk N. Furter wrote:

Ok, he says very little as one would expect, some vaguely socialist rhetoric typical of a middle class arty farty type. Next.

... Guess why the people of some african nations have to speak french... I am not even aware of the difference between american terms and proper english (infact I speak italian and just use uncle sam language) If it was for me, the real international tongue would be esperanto.Funk N. "ciclo mestruale"?Funk N. Furter wrote:"Period" is American for "full stop". Italian is "ciclo mestruale" and French is "nil points".
"ciclo mestruale" means "menstrual cycle"
The word for "period" is "punto". If Americans have thier bloody "period" h24 it is not my fault We have "punto" (full stop).

So: Bagatell, who lives in the land of Durruti, is a fan of this embarassing british "beppe grillo" copycat?Funk N. Furter wrote:This really is a shit post. I did read it. Re: Russel Brand On Revolution
It is not difficult: "point" derives from italian "punto". The full stop is infact a point. Americans, instead, have "period" (which comes from italian "periodo"). At least 70-80% of english terms derive from ancient italian/latin. The rest comes from ancient german.Funk N. Re: Russel Brand On Revolution
Incorrect. "Point" derives partly from the Old French "point", from the LATIN "punctum", and partly from the Old French "pointe", from the LATIN "puncta". Nobody here cares about or for Italian.

French derives from latin. Infact it is called "a neolatin tongue". English derives from german. Infact it is called "a germanic tongue". The fact it contains 70-80% of words derived from latin is because of the ancient roman empire invasion and the wars with france.Galt wrote:Incorrect.
