Hi folks. I don't have a push yet. So I'm not super familiar with its working. I'm wondering if its possible to midi map some of its pads, in user mode, but still be able to use the default 16 cell drum pad in the lower left at the same time as usual, or does user mode just bypass all the default settings?
Thanks!
Giacomo

The way it operates without any tinkering is, you select it as a control Surface (actually this automatically happens), and a 2nd instance shows up in midi settings for mapping.
When you press the User button on Push, that is that '2nd instance'.
The regular mode is not mappable at all unless you tinker with max or python.
The User mode is fully mappable.
So to map anything, you switch completely to the User mode. It won't be a hybrid combination.

Okay, so "no" then, if I'm not mistaken. Then, is there a way to manually map the 16pads in the lower left corner to a drum pad in user mode? I'm basically wanting to have a full 16 pads to play finger drums on, while still having a few other pads available to map samples to. Is that possible wi push, or do I need another midi controller paired with it?
