Please help. Using drum rack? [SOLVED]

I have two samples layered inside of a drum rack to create a instrument rack.
I have also added another sample in the chain.

The problem is is that I have two plugins in the first sample chain that I want to copy to the second sample chain to give that sample the same sound as the first. When ever I copy the plugins to the second sample chain they duplicate on the first sample chain giving the first sample extra unwanted sound. When I try and turn off the plugins on the first sample chain they also turn off the plugins I copied on the second sample chain.
I am not sure if this is a problem with Ableton or just something I am doing wrong.
EDIT: I figured out a work around.
