Like if you're well off, when your country's economy takes a blow and your taxes go up a little bit, you can bitch and whine like a spoilt child about "redistribution" and "socialists", or you can man up, take it on the chin and get on with life.

Not that I’m defending the rich, but I think we’re all capable of greed given the opportunity.

Let’s say you’re fairly poor but have $2,000 in savings and have to pull out $100 to fix your car or some shit. Sucks but life will go on.

Let’s say you’re fairly well off and have $2,000,000 in investments but you lose $100,000 for new imposed tax reasons. You’d probably be more pissed off than the poor car repair guy even though you need the money less.

Just a thought on the mentality of the well off.
