Save default clip not working

I have a sample folder on my desktop which has been added to my Live 9.1 browser. Within this folder, there's a FLAC sample...let's call it 'sample.flac', which I would like to edit the clip settings of and save them so that every time I load sample.flac into Live, the saved clip settings are there. From my understanding, isn't that what the 'Save' button in the clip settings box is for? Because it's not working for me. I load in sample.flac, edit the clip settings, click Save...but the saved clip settings aren't there when I load it again.
So yeah, I'm confused. Is something wrong? Am I not doing something right?

I also tried with WAV and AIFF files and it's still not working. And 'Create Analysis Files' is turned on. So I really don't know...

Try renaming the sample in the session view, before hitting save. That should def save everything in a new clip.

Hey, thanks for replying.
I tried renaming it but it still didn't work.
