Hello!

Anyone use WAVES with Live? MY problem is when I try to open a live doc. the WAVES Plug-ins don't appear in that doc. I used waves plug-ins in the same doc. and then saved as (template).

The same happened when I open blank document in Live and there's no waves. The same message appear on screen. Is problem of WAVES or of Live? In my settings (options) I re-scaned for new plug-in but no success with the problem.

Anyone has any idea?

I use Waveshell v 4.0.0.0 and I use Pc.

I installed Platinum version, is any other version of waves better with Live?

is your ilok key working okay? did you remember to plug it in?

what is ILOK Key?

Ilok is a portable registration USB dongle that is used for Waves products.
it contains your registration information that proves you are the owner of the plugins, and this allows you to use them on any computer with that software installed.

if you recently bought the Waves Platinum Bundle, and the demonstration period has expired, you need to obtain an ilok key from http://www.ilok.com/ and download the registration to the dongle.

I think that I know my problem. Is any other way to solve the problem? I don't think so, no?

it sounds like you just need to get an ilok key.
if you paid for the software, thats all you need to do.

The Platinum Bundle would have had to cost you no less than 1700 Euro, so whats the problem with getting a 30 euro USB dongle?

Or he could contact Waves and do the old style challenge and response, which
will register his personal serial number to the single licensed hard drive
that he has installed Waves on.

My problem is that my ableton Live V4 and Cubase Sx3 are original, I'm trying waves with live, cause I have cracked version. I think that I'll buy it cause they're really usefull.

in the future, if you have technical problems and cracked software is in the equation... its not good to request help on a company's public forum.
It really does a diservice to people who are trying to help you and who want to help you.
