So I was just playing w/ the Push, and decided to wrap it up to keep it away from the kiddies while I go for a jog...

So I unplug it from the wall... And realize... IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE PLUGGED IN! Doh! smh. I just assumed that because it came with the adapter, that I needed to plug it in.

Didn't realize it was bus powered by my MacBook Pro. Hellz Jea!

Thanks Akai & Ableton. I love you.

haha brilliant :)

You might also notice when powered by USB that the pads are a little more dim, but if you're not in bright sunlight it shouldn't be a problem.

I thought the same thing when I unboxed mine. I was thinking, "Hell, this sucks. Kills the whole "mobile rig" deal."

Then after watching some vids on youtube I realized no one else had their Push plugged in. I unplugged mine & fell in love all over again.

I love that you don't have to use the power adapter but damn...I wish the usb port felt more stable. It seems weak.

I didn't evn get a power supply with mine. The Australian distributor failed to include them with our units for some reason. Only just heard from the place I got my Push from that the PSU's have finally come in 8 months after I got my unit!
