Two ableton push, one computer

Hi everyone
I've been playing around with ableton push and got more and more comfortable with it to the point where I'd like to start improvising live sets.
I looking for THE ideal setup.
So I was thinking act first, that maybe an apc40 and push but it's not practical because when I launch a clip on apc40 and get back to push, the channel that's highlited changes and I have to click back on the channel I wanna play push notes on and arm it.
Then I thought that maybe a second push would do it, so just like djaying if have a mixer, a push on the right, a push on the left and would create a track on the left side and then when done playing it, would create a track on the right side and cross fade to the right.
But it's not working, in terms of session, they have different grids, which is great, but in terms of notes, as soon as you jump in the "note" mode, both push cannot play different armed channels,or instruments. I have tried to set the midi ins to their corespondent push and that was unsuccessful,
And also, if one push is launching clips, it changes the highlighted channels and it's nearly impossible to jump from one push to another.
Is there a way to launch clips from push session mode without having the Chanel getting highlighted and armed?
Is there a way to be able to play push left on channel 1-8 and push right on channel 9-16 at the same time?(playing midi notes specifically)
Thanks guys!

I think in live's preferences you can turn off 'select clip on launch'.

The other thing, with only one Push notes channel at a time is a pain in the ass.

They ought to have multi-colored push arming, so they can play nicely together :P
