Next hardware revision should have no invisible Fonts

If the Push letters would be white and not invisible when the button is not illuminated the user would not feel like an idiot sitting in front of a matrix full of nameless buttons. When I used NI Maschine the first time it was fun because I could figure out how to use it just by reading the button names. I am currently using Push for the third time I am still sitting here trying to read the letters on the hardware...
So I will have to pay for the next hardware upgrade to have the readable letters on buttons feature... great...

I like the black buttons , enclose some kind of mystery in push.

I agree with manutech; I like the buttons the way they are. Why do you need to see them when your Push is off? Is it for User mode?

Isn't it supposed to be context sensitive, so they will only light up if they are useable in the mode you're in?
Or is that only with PXT? I forget.. Too much eggnog

Looks like I have had a bad start with Push. The Push buttons were not lit up correctly after Live had started. Looks like this happens when my Midi Interface has its casual trouble and needs to be turned off and on again... The problem can could also be solved by entering and leaving user mode. Now I recognize the context sensitivity
Thanks for replying to my whining

I also like the way they function.

I'm with the OP. Would it have been so hard to make them at least readable. I get that it's context sensitive, but for finding my way around I take every visual cue I get and those buttons are nearly invisible in a dark enviroment, so that my mind always has to reorientate where everything is.

Led ring would be really nice for the knobs

I think the current context sensitive buttons are brilliant. Instead of having to scan 30 buttons, you only have to scan the X number that are illuminated, the other ones won't do anything anyways.
LED rings are direly needed around the encoders however.
