plug in issue

So I just got live 9 as a gift. I installed software without issue. However live is not recognizing my plugins.
Do u have to do jbridge if u have 64 bit live software? Any help would be appreciated.

AFAIK yes: live 64 bit will not recognize 32 bit plugins.
