Hi there,
Live works pretty well for me, except for one thing:
Live produces an enerving crackle-sound when i create a new Instrument, Track, Effect etc. and when i erase a Track or Effect etc.
My system is:
MBP Mid 2010
4 gb ram
2,4 ghz
soundcard: Focusrite Saffire Pro 14
Ableton Push COntroller
Ableton Version 9.1 Suite

Could it be a config-Problem? Or can maybe 8gb ram help??
Pleas help me.

Thanks

More RAM won't make a difference.

And your machine is probably not the problem.. I have a 2009 Mbps at about 2.3 Ghz and it works like a dream.

I've had this problem as well. Contacted support almost a year ago now. I haven't encountered it lately as I stopped considering using Push as an improvisational tool (actually due to this issue.) I'm disappointed to hear it is still an issue.

An Hour ago i ordered two 4 gb ram sticks. I will test whether it helps, because i think it will at least increase the speed of loading samples...i think.
But i have contacted the ableton support as well and actually i hope they know more nowadays ;)
Is there anyone else who can tell me something about this problem??
