Still use NI Audio Kontrol 1. Will upgrade to Komplete Audio 6 eventually but no real need right now, though the extra input pair would be nice.

I had some Presonus thing a couple years ago and it died after a year of use, so I went right back to NI.

Metric Halo 2882 +DSP

The routing in the mio mix software is incredibly flexible.
DSP fx pretty useful also... I have if set up like a summing box for mixing.

Hi, I'm new!

I've been using the Focusrite Saffire 6 USB for a couple years and the only issue I've ever had with it is that my laptop HAS to be plugged in or else the sound is incredibly distorted.

That may be an issue with my laptop though.

I have a RME UFX and a RME Fireface 400. The UFX is very good as it can be used with USB or FW and has a nice virtual mixer (Totalmix). I love RME products for their stability and low latency.

I'm using a Presonus Audiobox USB. Its been pretty good, but every now and then I have to reinstall the drivers, that gets it working again. Its very limited though, I have some stompbox pedals and rack mount effects I would like to route audio through, but I can't because of the very limited I/O. I have a firebox too, which was full of I/O, but I haven't had firewire in years now. Stupid firewire.

still rocking an RME Multiface II, works like a charm since day one (which was 7 years ago)
not upgrading anytime soon, happy with the sound and the drivers are just stable, still get updated even if the soundcard is discontinued.

Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, Propellerhead Balance, Apogee ONE, Apogee JAM, or Apogee GIO. Just depends on what I'm working on and where.

Presonus vsl- has everything I need, most importantly separate headphone/main volume controls and a good amount of inputs.

The need for more I/O has me currently using an old Edirol FA101 which isn't actually mine and at some point will need to be returned.....if anyone knows of something reasonably cheap with at least 8 analogue I/O that is smaller than 19" rack size I'm interested.
