folder items missing

In live 9 when I select add folder, some items will appear as soon as u
Locate and hit ok. Some take awhile to show, some aren't showing at
all. Has anyone experienced this as well. If so,by is there a solution. Also do u really have to add
Folders one by one? I have gigs of sounds and its becoming a pain in the ass.
