When I purchase my new computer, how exactly am I going to get Ableton, NI Komplete, FxPansion, and all my other plug-ins on it?

This is my first transfer of computers ever since I started producing on the computer. I am not to sure on how this will work. I have an iLok for my PT but that's it.

Not sure about how on PCs, but on a Mac you can clone the drive to an external drive and then clone that to your new Mac.

Or you're just going to have to reinstall everything from discs or downloads if the developer has downloads on their site. A lot of poeple recommend doing a clean install of everything and start fresh as opposed to cloning drives.

When cloning your old Mac to your new Mac, be sure that your old Mac has been updated to at least one later release than what came on the new Mac!
