working on some parallel compression for my drum tracks but the parallel processed track sends back the audio a little late and it does not lock with the drums tracks.

Help?

have you got delay compensation turned on?

how have you setup the parallel compression? are you using a return track?

and what compressor are you using?

yup the parallel compression is coming from a return track.
drum tracks to drum bus
Parallel drums (return track) to drum bus (to control all drums together?)

Live's compressor

delay compensation is on by default. it is found under the options menu.

if i understand you correctly, you are routing the audio from a return track into a another track in live. In this case you will run into a problem of uncompensated latency unless you disable the corresponding send on the track you have routed the return's audio to. if you disable the send by right clicking on it and choosing disable send, live will be able to compensate for the latency again and your parallel compression should line up.
