Anyone else think unison notes on push sound cut short? fix?

Hi All,
I just want to know if there is anything I can do to make unison notes on push sound more musical. I don't know what happens with the note on and off signals but when I play the same note on two different lines on push, the note is cut short and sounds awkward, not at all musical like it would if on a guitar for example. Obviously this problem is avoided with normal keyboard controllers as each note only has one corresponding key!
I think the retrigerring of a given note e.g. A4 by two different keys interrupts the normal note envelope and the release sounds weird.
Does anyone else experience this, know why it happens and if there is a workaround that sounds better?
