Hello I have seen many posts, about overdub automation, but most of the answers were for live 8 , when Ovrdub function button was stil existing. But this doesn't exist anymore in live9. I remember I have seen the answer on a post , I should have saved it, But I didn't. So can someone enlight me again, clearly about how to do, overdub automation in arrangement view without erasing your midi note in place. And please , only one answer, that should be clear enough, and that could serve anyone reading this post. Try to make it clear as possible, and make sure you have tried it yourself, so only one answer should come to this post, rather than 1000 confusing ones. Thank you very much.

The + button is overdub.
The record button near stop and play is for arrangement recording.
I've noticed that there is odd behavior for the arrangement record button.
There have been some cases where if triggered using an external device (hardware controller), it doesn't always overdub.
But when triggered with a mouse, or with F9, it usually works.
Plus some hardware Does work.
There is an inconsistency.
If you trigger Record with the mouse and it still does not work, then there may be a different issue than the one I am referring to.
I apologize for the lack of clarity, but this seems to have been happening, I've even tested it myself (especially happened with a Push script mod).
